Reston, VA - 8/11/2026 - Cardiac Care Associates is pleased to welcome Joseph Lee, PA-C, to its inpatient cardiovascular care team. Joseph joins the practice with a patient-centered approach to hospital-based cardiovascular care and a strong commitment to helping patients understand their condition, participate in treatment decisions, and feel supported throughout their care journey.

As an inpatient cardiovascular physician assistant, Joseph evaluates and manages hospitalized patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. He performs inpatient consultations, assists with the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease, interprets diagnostic testing, and collaborates closely with the cardiology team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Joseph earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Richmond, Virginia. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of Virginia. While at the University of Virginia, Joseph worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Emergency Medical Technician, experiences that helped shape his commitment to compassionate, service-driven patient care.

During physician assistant school, Joseph completed broad clinical rotations in emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, interventional radiology, and orthopedic trauma surgery. This multidisciplinary foundation informs his thoughtful approach to inpatient assessment, diagnostic interpretation, care coordination, and patient education.

Raised in the DMV, Joseph is especially proud to serve the Northern Virginia community. He is also passionate about volunteering with people experiencing homelessness and other underserved communities, reflecting Cardiac Care Associates' commitment to accessible, respectful, and community-focused care.

Joseph's arrival strengthens the practice's ability to deliver coordinated cardiovascular care for patients during hospitalization and through transitions of care. His clinical background, collaborative approach, and focus on patient empowerment make him a valuable addition to the Cardiac Care Associates team.
