A compassionate and dedicated non-invasive cardiologist, Dr. Zhang brings a patient-centered approach that emphasizes building strong therapeutic alliances and tailoring evidence-based treatment plans to each individual. His arrival reinforces our commitment to providing the highest standard of cardiovascular care to our community.
Dr. Zhang joins Cardiac Care Associates with a robust educational and training background. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2012. His pursuit of medical excellence continued at George Washington University School of Medicine, where he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine in 2019. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, in 2022, before specializing further in cardiovascular disease through a fellowship at Stony Brook University, which he completed in 2025.

Dr. Zhang's expertise is further validated by his multiple board certifications, including General Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. His clinical interests and publications reflect his deep commitment to the field, with contributions focusing on echocardiography, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease. As a non-invasive cardiologist, he focuses on diagnosing and managing heart conditions without surgical intervention, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to provide precise care.
