Nuclear Perfusion Stress Test
Pre-Test Medication Instructions
If you have any questions about taking your medications or preparing for a test, please contact our office.
Diabetic Patients: Do not take your insulin or oral medication the day of the test; please bring it with you to take when instructed.
Beta Blockers, Calcium Channel Blockers: Should be discontinued prior to the test unless otherwise instructed by your physician. Please refer to the lists below.
Medications containing theophylline: Should be discontinued prior to the test unless otherwise instructed by your physician. Please refer to the list below.
Must be discontinued for 24 hours prior to appointment (also check the label):
