Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Chengot enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was very involved in community education during her medical training in New York and hopes to be able to continue to educate patients in the Northern Virginia Area.

Biography

Dr. Chengot is an energetic, skilled, and caring physician who has a passion for cardiology.

Dr. Chengot graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2008. She then completed her medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital in 2011, after which she spent a year as the chief resident where she was extremely involved in teaching as well as administration. She then pursued a fellowship in General Cardiology, also at Winthrop University Hospital, which she completed in June 2015.

Dr. Chengot is extremely passionate about preventive cardiology and lifestyle modification. She enjoys noninvasive imaging, particularly nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. In addition, she is also a strong advocate for women’s health and has a special interest in perimenopausal and post-menopausal aspects of cardiac issues among women.

Dr. Chengot is passionate about helping you to live the best life possible. She sees each of her patients as unique individuals with their own specific needs and concerns and takes her time to make sure that every patient feels their questions and concerns have been answered and acknowledged.
